POSITION TYPE: Dental Lab SPECIALTY UNIT: CAD CAM Designer - ExoCad LOCATION: Palm Bay, FL JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent SALARY: $80K - $100K + relocation assistance. Job Opportunity: CAD CAM Designer - ExoCad A well-established, privately-owned, state-of-the-art dental laboratory is expanding and seeking a skilled CAD CAM Designer proficient in ExoCad software. The ideal candidate will design full mouth restorations, contour crowns, bridges, implant abutments, and hybrid restorations, including hybrid All-on-X designs, and handle chairside conversions. Experience with photogrammetry and Myo is a plus. Responsibilities & Duties: • Review prescriptions and supporting documents. • Evaluate models for articulation, bite accuracy, and clearance. • Verify occlusal and incisal clearance or determine if reduction coping is required. • Create artistic, esthetic designs using CAD software. • Design, mill, and finish a variety of restorations, including: • Full contour monolithic arches • Dentures • Implant & crown restorations • Custom abutments • Design and produce hybrid restorations for All-on-X cases. • Perform chairside conversions and manage digital workflows, including 3D printing and processing. • Ensure accuracy and quality of scans. • Train colleagues on milling and sintering Zirconia techniques as needed. • Perform routine equipment maintenance according to schedule. • Maintain a clean, organized work area. • Continuously develop skills and knowledge to contribute to company growth. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus. • Advanced knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and restorative dentistry. • Proven experience designing with ExoCad software. • Experience with hybrid All-on-X restorations and chairside conversions. • Familiarity with photogrammetry and Myo is advantageous. • Proficiency in designing, milling, and finishing various types of restorations. • Experience with 3D printing and processing digital workflows. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technicians and doctors.
