CAD Drafter

Job Title: CAD Draft Person – Commercial Design Studio Unscripted Interior Design, a nationally recognized Interior Design Firm, with offices in Southwest Denver, CO and Santa Ana, CA is looking to grow the Commercial Design Studio. The ideal candidate will be proficient in drafting software, possess a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications, and be passionate about both the technical and artistic aspects of design. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities • Provide the technical delivery of AutoCAD and Revit project deliverables in close collaboration with our project team • Draft person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be adept at developing detailed drawings, proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, organized, motivated and detail oriented. • The drafter should have experience in millwork design and drawing. • Be capable of producing detailed, high-quality construction drawings using CAD software, focusing on interior design projects for commercial spaces. • Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and ensure design intent is accurately reflected in drawings and all construction documentation. • Prepare technical drawings for building structures, interior layouts, products, and other architectural elements. • Review and refine designs to ensure accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to building codes. Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a FIDER/CIDA accredited program · Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, BIM – 5 years+ preferred • Experience with SketchUp or other 3D modeling tools • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) - a plus • Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and detailing • Familiarity with building codes and regulations • Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under deadlines • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to successfully handle multiple projects • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Experience with 2D animation software (preferred but not required) • Applicants who meet these qualifications should email their resume, work samples, and 3 professional references Job Type: Full-time, hybrid role out of our Colorado HQ or CA Studio Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday Experience: • Revit: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Centennial, CO 80112
