CAD Designer – Interior Design​/3D Modeling & Architectural Detailing

Position: CAD Designer – Interior Design (3D Modeling & Architectural Detailing) Meg Corley Interiors is a premier luxury interior design firm specializing in high-end residential interiors. We create tailored, elegant spaces with an emphasis on craftsmanship, architectural details, and a seamless client experience. We are currently seeking a Contract CAD Designer with 3D modeling expertise to support our team with interior-focused architectural drawings, client walkthrough models, and shop drawings for builders and carpenters. What You’ll Do • 3D Modeling & Client Presentations – Create Sketch Up/Revit models that allow clients to visually walk through their space before construction begins. • Architectural Detailing – Develop technical drawings that include millwork, cabinetry, trim details, and built-ins to be used in shop drawings for carpenters and builders. • Blueprint Interpretation – Work from architectural-provided blueprints to create detailed models and drawings. • Collaboration – Work closely with designers to ensure accuracy in modeling and detailing. • Project Estimation Assistance – If provided with blueprints, help estimate the scope of work based on required CAD modeling and detailing needs. What We’re Looking For • Somebody who can come into the office to discuss the needs. • Proficiency in Sketch Up/Revit or any other 3D modeling program (required). • Experience in Revit and AutoCAD (preferred but not required). • Strong background in interior architectural detailing, including millwork, cabinetry, and built-in design. • Experience working with designers in a collaborative setting. • Ability to interpret blueprints and contribute to project estimation. • Detail-oriented and capable of creating precise technical drawings that can be integrated into shop drawings. • Focus on interior work (not exterior). Bonus Skills • Experience rendering photorealistic images from Sketch Up/Revit models. • Familiarity with materials, finishes, and construction techniques. #J-18808-Ljbffr
