CAD Designer/ Draftsperson
Growing design firm seeking an established CAD Designer/ Interior Architect with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively and quickly.
• Able to read and make sense construction documents
• Ability to create construction documents - demo plans, lighting plans, etc
• Develop design documents in CAD, Chief Architect, or Sketchup- includes creating scaled floor plans, elevations, and detailed custom millwork drawings
• Ideal candidate can utilize photoshop, revit, or sketch up to make more realistic drawings
• Working with Principal to determine what's possible and if/ where there are holes
• Maintain consistent and accurate records
• Keeping clean .dwg files, easily organized
• Works well both collaboratively and alone
• Priority to someone local who is able to be on site for certain measures
• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred but not required
• 5 years minimum design experience
• Proficient in CAD, Sketchup, and/or Revit
• High level of proficiency in Windows-based computing and Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ideal candidate would have the ability to visit job sites
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once with efficiency and error free
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of urgency
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
