Job Title: Cabinet Designer Sales Location: San Jose, San Francisco, Monterey Bay, Morgan Hill, Santa Cruz, Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Danville, Tracy, Burlingame, Marin, Napa, Sonoma, Roseville Responsibilities: • Customer Collaboration: Work directly with customers to understand their cabinetry needs and preferences, offering personalized design solutions that align with their vision. • Design Software Utilization: Use design software (training provided) to create and modify designs for kitchens, bathrooms, and closets, ensuring accuracy and creativity in each project. • Recommendations: Provide thoughtful recommendations on layout, finishes, and product selections to enhance customer satisfaction and meet their aesthetic and functional requirements. • Sales Process Management: Oversee the sales process from the initial consultation to final design approval, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for the customer. • Customer Support: Address customer concerns promptly and follow up throughout the process to maintain high levels of satisfaction. • Site Visits: Visit job sites as needed to resolve customer concerns and provide hands-on support, ensuring the project meets the customer’s expectations. • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on current design trends, cabinetry innovations, and industry developments to provide cutting-edge design recommendations to clients. • Modern Solutions: Ensure that design recommendations are modern, functional, and tailored to the client’s needs. Compensation and Benefits: • Base salary + commission + bonus + perks • Health benefits • 401(k) with matching • Paid Time Off (PTO) Qualifications: • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. • Experience: Recent graduate or 1-3 years of experience in design, sales, or a related field. • Passion for Design: Strong passion for cabinetry design and providing exceptional customer experiences. • Attention to Detail: Diligent and detail-oriented approach to the design and sales process. • Software Proficiency: Willingness to learn and develop expertise in cabinetry design software (experience with AutoCAD or similar tools is a plus). • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric focus. • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Cabinetry Interest: Interest or experience in cabinetry design, particularly with European-style frameless cabinetry, is a plus. • Customer-Facing Experience: Experience in a customer-facing role such as sales is advantageous. • Industry Familiarity: Familiarity with the home improvement or construction industry is beneficial but not required.
