About this role

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinetry design, interior design, and project management, with proficiency in industry-standard software. This role involves creating custom cabinet layouts, collaborating with clients and contractors, and ensuring designs meet aesthetic and functional requirements. The successful applicant will contribute to residential and commercial renovation projects, providing innovative solutions that align with client needs and industry standards. Responsibilities • Develop detailed cabinet designs using Cabinet Vision. Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, or Adobe Creative Suite required. • Create accurate drafting and renderings that illustrate design concepts for clients and contractors. • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure designs align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. • Assist in selecting materials, finishes, colors, and lighting options based on color theory and lighting design principles. • Prepare detailed construction documents, including contracts and specifications for manufacturing and installation. • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for product selection and procurement. • Stay current with industry trends in remodeling, renovation, lighting sales, and interior design to provide innovative solutions. Requirements • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam. • SERVICE is our number one focus with our clientele. • Strong drafting skills combined with knowledge of CAD standards. • Experience in interior design, remodeling, construction, and renovation projects. • Knowledge of project management principles. • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines. • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
