Cabinet Designer

Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented cabinet designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design principles and be proficient in 2020 program. This role involves collaborating with clients and team members to create innovative designs that meet project specifications. The Designer will play a key role in drafting, modeling, and presenting design concepts across multiple platforms. Duties Develop detailed design drafts using 2020 software.Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.Prepare contract documents and specifications for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.Engage in sales activities by presenting design proposals to clients and addressing their needs effectively.Participate in remodeling projects, providing creative solutions that align with client expectations.Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the design process.Participate in the sale and project management of flooring, tile, counter tops, and closet systems in addition to the primary role of cabinet design and sales.Requirements Proficiency in 2020 software.Strong understanding of interior design principles and practices.Experience with contract preparation and project management is preferred.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.Previous experience in sales or client relations is a plus but not mandatory.Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Paid time offExperience: cabinet design: 1 year (Required)2020 software: 1 year (Required)Ability to Commute: Prattville, AL 36067 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate: Prattville, AL 36067: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
