About the Role The Market Development Manager plays a crucial leadership role in driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and team success. This position involves overseeing multiple departments, fostering seamless collaboration, and mentoring a dynamic sales team. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a personal business portfolio while identifying new revenue streams. • Lead and mentor the sales team to enhance performance, meet KPIs, and increase deal closures. • Network within the market to establish relationships, generate leads, and promote Business Interiors. • Represent Business Interiors at industry events, client meetings, and community engagements to elevate market visibility. • Oversee daily operations of multiple teams to ensure optimal collaboration and performance. • Collaborate with leadership to monitor profitability, manage financial performance, and align operations with corporate objectives. • Encourage a positive, high-performing workplace culture through team mentorship and guidance. Qualifications: • 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in design, commercial furniture, office interiors, or related fields. • A demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through existing relationships and securing new business. • Exceptional mentorship, coaching, and leadership skills with experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams. • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and enhancing market presence. • Proficient in CRM systems, project management software, and financial reporting tools.
