He is known for his timeless, traditional and transitional designs. Barry began his painting career in 2008, layering his interior design business with a robust artistic career. Inspired by abstract art, Barry creates custom artwork for his clients in addition to having his own fabric and accessory collection with Kravet Inc. Job Description: Bookkeeper Our amazing design firm is growing rapidly. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and skilled full-time Bookkeeper. This individual manages the financial records and transactions of the business. They play a crucial role in organizing and maintaining accurate financial data, including tracking expenses, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and generating financial reports. Additionally, they assist in budgeting, payroll processing, and tax preparation. By ensuring the financial health and compliance of the interior design firm, the bookkeeper allows the designers to focus on their creative work with peace of mind. This individual reports to the principal designer. Responsibilities: · Work closely with the principal designer and the procurement & logistics manager · Manage accounts payable and receivable · Good record keeping and organization of receipts and product invoices · Communication with outside CPA on tax payments and tax returns · Make tax payments as needed · Perform account reconciliation and analysis · Prepare financial reports and statements · Assist with budgeting processes · Utilize technical accounting skills to ensure accuracy in financial records · Manage payroll · Pay sales tax to applicable states as needed · Set up business with new states as needed based on projects · Manage cash flow report bi-weekly Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree · A minimum of two years professional bookkeeping experience and accounting roles · Proficiency in debits and credits · Account reconciliation experience · Financial report writing · Strong understanding of budgeting principles · Knowledge of technical accounting practices · Proficient in Microsoft Excel · Familiarity with accounting programs and systems · Excellent communication skills · Extremely organized and responsible Other and Compensation: Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location of position: Carmel, IN (in-person) Wage: Competitive Health Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance available Other Benefits: 401K (after one full year) PTO: To be discussed with owner, plus major holidays are paid time off Interested in applying for this position?
