Automotive Designer - INTERIOR

Roles and Responsibilities - Develop aesthetically compelling, functional and technologically innovative Interior Design proposals for the Advanced Design Interior team. Working across existing brands and with the opportunity to contribute to projects that explore new business opportunities in the Transport space... - To guide and follow the 3D development of their chosen themes with the sculpting and fabrication teams. - To contribute to developing advanced UX/UI solutions. Including an awareness of emerging technology trends and executions. - An ability and desire to engage enthusiastically with strategic and customer focused thinking to add depth and meaning to Advanced projects and presentations. - To represent the Interior team in a professional and courteous manner with cross functional teams. - To exhibit a collaborative and team focused attitude that fosters and encourages inclusion and a safe, desirable work environment. Experience - Graduate in a relevant field of study to Automotive Design or 0-4 years of professional experience in an established Vehicle OEM or startup. - The candidate will provide evidence of significant contributions to meaningful projects of a professional standard. Including 2D/3D proposals that show a clear understanding of resolving complex and sophisticated form development. Required skills - Highly skilled in 2D presentations of their proposed Design theme. Including an ability to clearly communicate design intent in loose sketching and polished 2D images. - Skilled and able to develop 3D data. Familiarity with 3D sculpting software such as Alias and Blender is preferable. - To be comfortable with making verbal presentations to leadership and the ability to communicate complex design ideas and strategies in a concise and compelling manner.
