Associate and Designer openings for Apparel Company . r will collaborate cross-functionally with the design team in order to stay in-line with business needs, current retail market trends and overall brand direction. This includes but are not limited to: • Assist in the creation and execution of designs, through selection of colors, fabrics & trims. • Gather and identify relevant trends in the marketplace through retail and competitive analysis. • Help in the preparation of line sheets and trend concepts for design review and merchandising meetings. • Assist in the development and merchandising of brand-right graphics. • Assist in the preparation of product and detailed technical drawings to create design packages for product development. • Maintain design libraries and organize designs by season and concept. • Order color swatches for lab dip development. • Participate in proto sample reviews and fittings to ensure proper fit for production, and update design packages accordingly. • Review graphic submits, in a timely manner, to ensure correct execution for approval.
