Overview:** Wayne State University is seeking an experienced Assistant Professor of Interior Design to join its James Pearson Duffy Department of Art, Art History, and Design. The ideal candidate will be excited to come to Detroit, a city of arts and culture, and contribute to the department's mission of providing a high-quality education in the fine arts, design, and art history... **Responsibilities:** The successful candidate will teach courses in Interior Design and may teach in other spatial design areas of the department that connect to their research expertise. The candidate will also conduct a program of creative and/or scholarly work, contribute to curriculum development, and provide appropriate professional service. **Qualifications:** An appropriate terminal degree is required in design, art, or a closely related field. A willingness to mentor undergraduate and graduate students from diverse populations is also required.
