Responsibilities:
The O’More College of Architecture and Design, department of Interior Design at Belmont University, is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning January 2026. The Interior Design program is within the O’More College of Architecture and Design (CAD. Located two miles from downtown Nashville, Tennessee, Belmont University comprises nearly 9,000 students from every state and 33 countries. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary duty will be preparing class content and educational experiences for teaching undergraduate Interior Design courses – with preference given to candidates capable of integrating current and advancing technology in the process and production of design.
Additional responsibilities include academic advising, student mentoring, scholarly and/or creative activity, recruitment and retention efforts, and college and university service.
The successful candidate will be expected to pursue these aspects of faculty life and within an ecumenical, student-focused environment that brings together the best of liberal arts and professional education in a Christ-centered community of learning and service.

• Terminal degree in Interior Design or closely related field

Required Education Terminal degree in Interior Design or closely related field.
Required Experience Professional experience in teaching at a college-level and/or design in the field.
