ASSISTANT INTERIOR DESIGNER

Position: ASSISTANT INTERIOR DESIGNER Location: Bozeman, Montana Locati Interiors is growing! We are seeking a full-time Interior Design Assistant with two+ years of professional residential interior design experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be integral to all projects, assisting and supporting lead designer(s) and team to insure client project success. WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO: • Possesses a flexible, positive attitude, is willing to work independently and/or in collaboration with teams as required on multiple projects. • Is self-motivated with an open mindset. • Can create and implement presentation packages, follow-up on all specification orders, communicate between vendors, as well as any other design-related activity. • Can implement changes and modifications within plans and elevations utilizing Revit or CAD, source new furniture/fabrics/accessories, prepare client presentations, place and track orders, meet with vendors and update/organize the sample library. QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS: • 2+ years experience within an established interior design firm. • Great communication and strong organizational, written and verbal skills. • Comprehensive knowledge in specifications, FF&E;, space planning, presentation and material sourcing. • Proficient in Studio Designer, Revit, CAD, InDesign and Photoshop, Microsoft Office. Primary hours of work are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. At times, evening and weekend availability may be required. Market and project travel required.
