Located in Hallandale Beach, FL, this position offers valuable insights into the interior design industry. Role Description This part-time, on-site role is based in Hallandale Beach, FL. The Assistant Interior Designer will support the lead designer in creating innovative design solutions, coordinating space planning, and preparing construction drawings. Responsibilities will include researching and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), collaborating with clients, and assisting with project execution to meet design expectations. The role also involves close attention to detail, working with vendors, and assisting in resolving design challenges. Qualifications • Proficiency in Space Planning and an understanding of Architecture fundamentals • Strong ability to create and interpret Construction Drawings • Demonstrated experience or interest in Interior Design and FF&E selection • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently • Effective client communication and collaboration abilities • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or related tools • Knowledge of design trends and materials for interior design projects • Certificate, associate's degree, or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
