Architecture and Interior Design Draftsman

Job Summary: About the Job We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter/CAM Programmer to join our team at Volt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality shop fabrication drawings for various projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. You will also possess a strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Create shop fabrication drawings for custom fixtures, cabinets, millwork, retail architectural casework, and ornamental metal. • Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam software. • Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of drawings. • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in CAD software and technology. Requirements: • Associate degree in architecture or mechanical drafting/design preferred. • Minimum 2 years' experience with AutoCAD software. • Minimum 2 years' experience with SolidWorks software. • Minimum 2 years' experience with Mastercam software, including writing code for CNC machinery. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
