Architectural​/Interior Designer

Position: Architectural/ Interior Designer Are you passionate about designing distinctive homes that stand out? Ventura Homes, a specialized home builder in Lubbock, TX, is seeking a talented Architectural/Interior Designer to join our creative team. As a Ventura Homes Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our signature floor plans, crafting unique exterior elevations, developing comprehensive construction documents, and curating material selections for each project. Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (a minimum of 5-7 years experience in residential design may stand in for a relevant degree) • 1+ year of experience in residential design Requirements: • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office • Experience in residential drafting & design • Ability to read and understand architectural plans • Familiarity with residential building code • Strong eye for interesting details with a great understanding of scale & proportion Responsibilities: • Create complete sets of plans per city ordinances, residential building codes, and internal drafting standards • Produce project models in Revit with relevant exterior & interior details • Develop project selections and provide specifications for various building products • Participate in weekly design meetings and site visits • Submit projects for permitting and update files on various platforms • Other duties as assigned Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology Industries Construction and Wholesale Building Materials #J-18808-Ljbffr
