Architectural Drafter - INTERIOR DESIGN

JOB PURPOSE • To produce complete sets of construction documents and custom furniture production drawings ... PROJECT TYPES Modern high-end residential construction, remodels, curated furnishing packages, & custom innovative commercial projects. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree completed in Interior Design • 4+ years experience in an interior design or architecture firm • Proficient in AutoCAD • Proficient in Construction Document Production • Proficient in Sketch Up and/or Revit. SKILLS • Ability to Draft in Autocad • AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Excel, Sketch-Up • Knowledge of Studio Webware, a plus • Knowledge of Building Codes and Standards • Ability to implement FF&E • Ability to produce detailed custom furnishings for production • Must be a Self-Starter • Ability to adapt to change quickly • Ability to effectively meet deadlines • Extremely detail oriented, strong organizational skills • Capable of managing projects and following up on tasks • Consistent level of follow-through • Excellent presentation and customer service skills • Outstanding interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, exceptional listening skills, a sense of urgency, and a high degree of professionalism, honesty, and integrity required. • Must be able to perform successfully under pressure and in a fast speed, deadline-driven environment • Must be open to feedback and learning experiences • Must work well in small group setting and enjoy working as part of a team RESPONSIBILITIES: • Produce Construction Documents • Produce custom furniture drawings • Maintain organized records of specifications in binder and computer files Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $96,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan Schedule: • Monday to Friday Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Construction Document Production: 6 years (Required) • Interior design: 6 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: • San Diego, CA 92101: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Diego, CA 92101
