Architectural Drafter

High end boutique interior design firm, with focus on large, high end, residential remodels, is looking for a part time Architectural Drafter to create interior design construction plan set, as well as presentation materials, for a project in Montecito. You must have ample experience in assembling full construction documents, proficient in CAD. 3D rendering and modeling software a plus. Must be experienced in drawing kitchens, bathrooms, floor plans layouts, custom furniture elevations etc. And, enjoy the creative process, since you would be involved in developing the design. You would need to be available to go to the site for field measuring, as well as occasional site meetings; otherwise you would work remotely and make your own hours. You would be strictly part time, 1099 independent contractor. My hope is to find someone in the Ventura, Ojai, or Santa Barbara area who can be involved from beginning to the end of this project. Hours would vary from week to week depending on the stage of the project, so expect a minimum of 10 and maximum of 40. If we work well together, I would happily involve you in other projects in the future. Payment base rate is $35.00 an hour, however it can be more, depending on your level of experience and what you can offer to the process.
