Architectural Designer/Drafter

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and plans that reflect the design intent of our projects. This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a strong understanding of architectural principles. As an Architectural Drafter, you will collaborate closely with architects and engineers to bring innovative designs to life. Duties • Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and plans using CAD software. • Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand design requirements and specifications. • Create 3D models and visualizations using tools such as Chief Architect. • Prepare technical drawings for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes. • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, including graphic design elements. • Revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients. • Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the drafting process. • Participate in design meetings and contribute creative ideas to enhance project outcomes. Skills • Proficiency in Chief Architect, CAD software, and other relevant drafting tools. • Strong understanding of residential and commercial design principles as well as interior design concepts. • Ability to draft detailed schematics and technical drawings accurately. • Experience with graphic design is a plus for creating compelling presentations. • Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as Sketchup and Revit. • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
