About the position
Responsibilities
• Collaborate under the Lead Designer and work independently on projects.
• Create furniture layouts and conduct space planning.
• Select finishes and materials for design projects.
• Develop conceptual design drawings and presentations.
• Produce 3D sketches and renderings.
• Prepare construction drawings and coordinate with project teams.
• Manage FF&E schedules and documentation (tear sheets, fabric selections, etc.).
• Generate and issue project meeting notes and minutes.
• Organize project files, binders, and maintain records.
• Coordinate with design staff for seamless project execution.
• Participate in occasional site visits, overnight travel, and overtime as needed.
• Update weekly project schedules and projections.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
• Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within time constraints.
• Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime to fulfill project requirements.
