Architectural Designer / Interior Architect Luxury Residential & Boutique Commercial Allen Saunders Design is seeking an exceptional Architectural Designer / Interior Architect to join our distinguished studio. We design at a level where nuance matters, detailing is paramount, and every decision is intentional. This is not an entry-level production role. We are looking for a designer who can think critically, lead confidently, and execute with precision. The Opportunity You will shape extraordinary environments from concept through completion — translating vision into built reality with clarity, technical precision, and elevated design judgment. This role demands both creative fluency and construction expertise. You will develop compelling presentations, produce meticulous construction documents, coordinate top-tier consultants, and guide execution in the field — ensuring that design excellence is never diluted. The Ideal Candidate • 7+ years of experience in luxury residential or boutique commercial design • Proven leadership of complex, custom projects from inception through construction • Mastery of construction documentation and architectural detailing • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite • Deep expertise in fine materials, custom millwork, fabrication processes, and code compliance • Polished communication skills suited for high-expectation clients and collaborators • Comfort integrating applied AI tools into design and production workflows • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design Licensure is a plus.
