About this role

We’re seeking an Architectural Designer who can take residential projects from early concept through detailed construction documentation. This role supports a collaborative design studio focused on high-end custom residential work where precision, creativity, and strong technical documentation are essential. The ideal candidate is self-directed, experienced with Revit, and comfortable coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout the entire design process. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop architectural designs from schematic concepts through construction documents * Produce detailed working drawings and maintain model accuracy using Revit * Prepare architectural plans, design details, and renderings that clearly communicate design intent * Coordinate with consultants and engineers to ensure integrated project documentation * Supervise and support junior design staff while maintaining project standards * Participate in bidding support, contractor selection, and construction administration activities * Maintain organized project documentation and adhere to internal QA/QC standards **Qualifications** * Strong proficiency in Revit required * Experience with AutoCAD for architectural documentation * 3–10+ years of architectural design experience * Background supporting residential projects, preferably high-end custom homes * Experience across all design phases including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents * Strong project management and organizational skills * Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors effectively * Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution * Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 * Experience supporting construction administration activities is a plus Design Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
