Join us in shaping the future of architecture and design in the Southeast!\nWe are currently seeking an Architect to join our Asheville office. You are passionate about design and devoted to quality. You possess the organizational skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple deadlines, a thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes and trends, a demonstrated ability to mentor and manage teams, and foster and nurture Client relationships. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the design process, working closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to bring visionary architectural concepts to life. Responsibilities Work side by side in a team environment with our Design Leaders, Project Managers, Architects, Interior Designers, Urban Planners and Emerging Professionals on active production projectsContribute to other design and marketing efforts undertaken by the firmCreate visual presentations and communications for client interactionsDiscover your areas of interest and work with talented mentorsDevelop design assignments throughout all project phasesCoordinate architectural drawings across disciplinesSupport communication between project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultantsPlay an integral part in overall client satisfaction, design quality and profitability of all projects undertaken that contribute to the firm’s strategic prioritiesRequirements Technical production skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documentsProficiency in RevitUnderstanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, ANSI 117.1, BOMAUnderstanding of the design and procurement processesAbility to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle project challengesCapability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversightRegistered Architect with Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited universityA cover letter, resume and portfolio demonstrating Revit skills and rendering abilities are required.Nice-to-haves Experience with 3D communication, by hand or graphic software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or EnscapeLEED accreditation or interest in achieving accreditation is preferredExperience with incorporating research in design process8+ years of design experience post licensure is preferredBenefits Ongoing engagement with fantastic design team membersTo develop new skills and contribute to world-class projectsParticipate in meaningful collaboration and research effortsA competitive compensation and benefits packageProfessional development allowance to toward educational opportunitiesLeadership development and mentoring across sectors, markets, offices and the firmParticipation in community service and outreach occasions supporting local and national organizationsFlexibility and balance in your schedule
