Job Overview: The Interior Design Society (IDS) is a non-profit membership association serving residential interior designers. The Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of activities to facilitate efficient operations of IDS. This is a part-time role offering up to 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities...
· Manage general inboxes for organization and distribute messages to appropriate team members.
· Organize and schedule appointments and meetings, and manage calendars.
· Prepare reports for team members.
· Record and distribute meeting minutes for the national board of directors and committees.
· Maintain and organize membership and meeting records through membership management software.
· Maintain a system for new and renewing membership mailings and communications.
· Collect membership payments.
· Organize details, including vendors for special events including but not limited to national conferences, regional and international design tours, and trade shows.
Qualifications & Skills
· High school diploma or general education degree
· 1-3 years of general office experience
· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Zoom
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Planning and organization
· Flexibility
· Team oriented
Requirements
· Must be able to work in person from our Headquarters located in High Point, NC preferably Monday - Wednesday.
· Job requires weekend / additional hours 3 times per year for special events
