About this role

Norris Furniture & Interiors is a luxury furniture and interior design company seeking an administrative assistant to support our top interior designers. This role requires an experienced administrative assistant with a passion for style, luxury furnishings, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, tech savvy, reliable, resourceful, and flexible. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities • Research and verify product pricing • Identify and obtain fabrics and finishes • Order sample materials from vendors • Assist with preparing presentations • Monitor and follow up on delivery of goods • Confirm appointments as needed • Follow-up with purchase orders • Liaison between the designer, customer service, and operations • Provide clerical and administrative support as requested Requirements • High level of creativity, innovative thinking, and problem-solving • Strong interpersonal communication skills; verbal, listening, and written • Collaborative and professional work ethic • Strong team player and ability to work independently • Strong attention to detail Desired Qualities • Excellent organizational skills • Proficient in Microsoft Suite • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Reliable and able to work under pressure • Multi-tasking and resourceful Required Education, Skills, and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an administrative assistant or similar • Professional appearance and demeanor • Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills • Computer skills and proper phone etiquette • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly professional environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Prior retail furniture and/or interior design industry experience a plus This position offers full-time employment, Monday through Friday, with opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
