About this role

**Overview:** The Pittsburg State University School of Construction is seeking a part-time, in-person, temporary Adjunct Lecturer to teach the Interior Design, History of Design I or Detailing and Working Drawings course for the Fall 2024 semester. **Responsibilities:** • Confer with students outside of class as needed • Evaluate and assess student performance • Create appropriate evaluations and examinations • Keep accurate records • Work with students • Collaborate with other faculty members • *Qualifications:** • Baccalaureate degree (required) • Master's degree (preferred) • Background in history of design knowledge (preferred) • 3 years of experience in the interior design industry (preferred) • AutoCad and Revit experience (preferred) • *Benefits:** • Competitive salary • Opportunity to work with a diverse student body • Collaborative and inclusive work environment • Visa sponsorship not available for this position • Pittsburg State University is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer, committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees
