Adjunct Faculty Position - Interior Design

Interior Design Faculty Member This is a part-time faculty position in the Interior Design Program at Delta College. We are seeking candidates with current knowledge of the Interiors industry and teaching experience in postsecondary courses. Job Responsibilities • Instruct students in Interior Design disciplines, adhering to credit course outlines approved by the Board of Trustees. • Maintain expertise in current teaching methods, discipline knowledge, and technologies used in Interior Design. • Evaluate student progress, provide counseling services, and track student learning outcomes. • Participate in curriculum review, modification, and assessment to ensure program success. • Support departmental activities and collaborate with other faculty to enhance student learning. Qualifications To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field, along with two years of professional experience OR an Associate's degree in Interior Design or a related field, accompanied by six years of professional experience. • Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
