We are... currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. Job Description: As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), journal entries, payroll, commissions, sales tax returns, insurance audits, bank reconciliation, and other related general accounting duties. You will report to the Parent Company's Controller based in Memphis and work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities: - Process invoices and payments for AR and AP - Record financial transactions in the general ledger - Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements - Assist with month-end close and produce financial reports - Process payroll and commissions - Assist with tax filings and audits - Perform other accounting duties as assigned Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting - 2 years of experience in accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - Experience with accounting software, QuickBooks - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and opportunities for growth and advancement.
