About the Job We are seeking a highly qualified educator and practitioner in interior design to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching interior design courses, mentoring students, and contributing to the development of the department's curriculum and programs. Key Qualifications • Master's or PhD degree in Interior Design or a related field. • A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a college or university setting. • NCIDQ certification and industry experience in interior design/architectural practice. • Strong communication skills, both written and oral. • Knowledge and experience with CIDA accreditation, memberships in interior design professional organizations, and ability to work effectively with outside constituencies. • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Photoshop.
