JLL in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Occupancy Planner to lead strategic space planning and design for corporate environments. You will develop test fits, space allocations, and visualization materials, leveraging CAD and CAFM/IWMS tools to inform decisions. The role partners with executives to translate business needs into innovative workspace solutions. Requirements include 5–7 years in occupancy/space planning, strong presentation skills, and the ability to navigate a matrixed team.

What this job involves: As a Workplace Associate Design Manager for JLL's Global Design team, you will hold a talented position based in New York with responsibilities within the Americas region and reporting to the Americas Team Lead. Provide support Design Management for various projects in Americas region while maintaining high standard of care to look and feel (including implementation and technical coordination of standards) for all environments Support workplace management teams in developing design solutions for business requirements, including management of drawing production via 3rd party as required Adhere to established global standards and global design process with understanding of standard furniture configurations and finish applications Provide written, verbal, and visual communication/direction to consultant teams regarding planning, presentation, or standards-related feedback with emphasis on documentation For Capital Projects: Support Design Management of complex external consultant teams consisting of Architects, Engineers, and specialists while working closely with Project Management team Assist in developing and delivering architectural briefs to Architectural teams/consultants based on collection of business and stakeholder requirements Assist in design portion of Capital Delivery including workplace design from inception to completion (close-out and end-user move-in), including management of consultant deliverables and overall design process For Operational/Facilities Projects: Provide design input and/or solutions as required for maintenance and improvements of office portfolio Participate in ongoing development of group's work on Workplace Design Strategy, Design Standards, and Process while working with established planning metrics, standard space configurations, and inclusivity requirements For more information about how JLL processes your personal data, please view our Candidate Privacy Statement. Deliver best-in-class Corporate Interiors project management as a player/coach by personally leading projects and overseeing a regional team, delivering $1M to $50M+ projects that elevate workplace experience, align with brand standards, and minimize operational disruption. 10–15+ years of progressive project management experience with a focus on Corporate Interiors; financial services or highly regulated environments preferred.
