Urbano Design & Build is looking for an Interior Designer/Project Coordinator with 5+ years experience in luxury residential projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage projects from schematic design through installation, Collaborate on developing the design concept for a project, Prepare client presentations with principal's design sketches, self-generated presentation materials including 2D and 3D drawings if needed, Design, source and present design ideas using tools including interior design finishes, fixtures, hardware, and lighting from vintage to custom items, in collaboration with the principal and other team members, Creation of proposals and coordinating purchases and shipment of all items, Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, millworkers, and subcontractors throughout the entire project to ensure accurate fabrication and timely installation for the project, Manage FF&E & sourcing to target budgets and timetable on a daily basis, Maintain communication with client, Manage internal and external deadlines, Define and solve complex problems, complete tasks accurately with a strong attention to detail (this is key) Organize and oversee installation of the projects, Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited architectural or interior design program (min 4+ years' experience), Overall knowledge and understanding of the basic flow of a project from conception through completion, Proficient in AutoCAD is a must, Sketch-up or similar rendering software is a plus but not necessary, Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Knowledge of physical and online showrooms and resources, Interior architectural experience in all phases of the design process, Must be able to work legally in the US. A successful candidate will understand the design process thorough programming, interior architecture, architectural specification, documentation, fixture and equipment (FF&E) specifications.
