Required Qualifications: • A minimum of a master's degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field • Interior Design expertise related to the CIDA-accredited curriculum in support of undergraduate and graduate Interior Design courses • Potential for research productivity or evidence of professional design practice experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Evidence of collaborative professional practice, teaching, scholarship/creative activity, and/or service • Evidence of innovative teaching strategies across undergraduate and graduate Interior Design studios including, but not limited to, foundation-level interior design, education design, healthcare design, or workplace design • Expertise in one or more Interior Design specialty areas, including but not limited to evidence-based design, human-centered design, design communication software, or construction documentation • Record of peer-reviewed research, design awards, or other publicly acknowledged design or community engagement work • NCIDQ certification, professional registration, licensure, or other certifications The Division of Interior Design in the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Interior Design beginning in August 2025.
