Strong understanding of multifamily interior design process from programming through construction administration and FF&E. • Leads preparation of designs and documentation with minimal oversight from Director of Interior Design. • Production of design presentations for client review at various stages of the project Prepares interior design construction documents • Takings field measurements of existing conditions • Leads interior design portions of construction phase services, including field observation, submittal review, and answering RFIs. • Assists Director of Interior Design with project and staff scheduling. At Urban Practice, we are dedicated to providing seamless, integrated architectural services to build communities that lift lives. The intern will assist the department with a wide-range of responsibilities during the program. During the program, you will work on real projects and have real responsibilities. They will collaborate with the team in producing architectural documents through all project stages and will apply standards and assemble drawing sets. Lastly, they will assist in the process of architectural drawing production from pre-design phase through construction.

Our team works closely with development, construction and management at The Michaels Organization to provide complete and thoroughly coordinated communities. Manages projects of all sizes and levels of complexity and provides project team leadership. Required Experience: • 8+ years of experience • Professional Degree in Interior Design • Proficiency in creative, visualization, and technical drawing skills. • Experience managing a team.
