Interior Design Director

Description An active senior team leader within the prototypical design studio that facilitates and improves upon the inner workings of their studio, inclusive of administration, business development and the ongoing enhancement of the Gettys creative process. A Director acts as the primary resource in support of the studio team members, as well as a liaison between team members and leadership while continuing as a lead on any given project team. • Collaborate with Principal and Director peers to maintain a steady, creative design vision and process that generates value to clients, team members and firm while continually building The Gettys Group as a design leader • Manage Quality Control protocols and ensure implementation across all studio projects • Develop monthly project staffing, inclusive of Manila team members, based on studio projections • Ensure all projects are on track for Monthly Deliverables and proactively address any at risk projects • Prepare and review new project scopes, work plans and contracts as required • Exhibit passionate team mentality and promote a continuous learning environment within the Design group; motivate team members and enable their growth as designers • Identify interests, concerns and issues within the studio to ensure all are addressed and resolved in an expeditious manner • Foster an ‘‘open-door’’ policy with team members to empower communication with immediate supervisor and other members of leadership • Manage administrative processes including but not limited to time and expense approval and PTO requests • Establish communication and understanding regarding company policies and office procedures • Participate in the performance, salary and quarterly check-in reviews for Designer I, II and III as required • Maintain a positive team environment in the studio • Follow and provide input into group processes and procedures to ensure strategies and directives of department are carried out in accordance with group and firm-wide objectives Requirements

Interior Design Intern

Will lead the organization of Design Library materials, maintain the Gettys Online Vendor Library and current resources. Project Participation • Work under the general direction of the senior team members • Assist in the selection of FF&E materials for design projects • Work with vendors to compile pricing, availability and samples of FF&E materials • Assist in the process of quoting and recording FF&E selections • Execute shipments of documents, samples and general correspondence as requested by the senior team members • Assist in the development of FF&E specifications, documentation and fabricating material boards as directed by the senior team members • Clearly communicate in written and verbal form • Monitor and promptly report progress on tasks and assignments Library Organization • Maintain and update the filing of new materials and information while removing outdated products • Maintain and continually work to improve the Gettys Vendor Online Library and Mood Shot Library with other interns • Organize and tidy shelves, keep up with alphabetization of binders and information booklets • Re-organize locations if necessary and more efficient or logical • Keep "New Products" board updated with current new information • Keep on top of the clutter of the work tables by communicating with designers regarding projects and need for material binders, etc. • Stock all supplies and order replenishments as needed. Vendor Contacts and Appointments • Coordinate Vendor Appointments in your respective office Library Calendar • Send weekly "Vendor Appointments" e-mail to Design and Procurement, as scheduled • Send Invitation in Outlook to Wednesday Lunch (Send on Mondays) • Be available to assist vendor set-up prior to breakfast and lunch presentations • Notify design staff of start of above presentations • Assist in clean up of above presentations
