Tenant Improvement Interiors is a growing design company specializing in space planning and construction drawings for industrial and office space. • A four year degree from a CIDA (FIDER) accredited Institution • Commercial Interior Design experience preferred (residential need not apply) • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp (preferred) and Microsoft Office • Experience with code research preferred • Attention to detail and ability to properly document building and site information • Strong professional service orientation with excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills • Work conceptually with clients to help them better understand their space planning needs • Prepare and present preliminary design plans, including electrical and plumbing, for offices and warehouses of varying size under direct supervision • Candidate will be charged with various projects and must be able to prioritize, while having the flexibility to manage multiple tasks • Prepare Construction Documents under direct supervision • Serve as project manager for the engineers during design and construction phases • Submit drawings and documents to Plan Review Jurisdictions • Respond to client questions and concerns accurately and efficiently • Prepare marketing plans for building owners and maintain/update Building CAD files • Site work to include space verification, client meetings, problem assessment and/or construction administration • Specify FF&E packages Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
