Design Staff fill a critical role in the firms design and documentation process. As part of our team, you will be integrally involved with the development of projects (architecture, interior architecture, and urban design), work with direction from Project Leads, and have direct contact with Principals. The role requires strong collaboration skills and a willingness to learn while performing a wide range of design-related tasks. Contemporary and creative design sensibility with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills Confidence in generating solutions and expanding on information provided by others through exploration of alternate possibilities and by asking the right questions Exceptional graphic, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to develop and iterate through generative, notational, and operational diagrams Excellent analytical capacity and ability to generate and apply research to specific issues and project or program requirements Strong and demonstrated hand and technical skills, including conceptualizing through sketching, developing digital renderings, building physical models, using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), and 3D modeling (experience in Revit® a plus) Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and be resourceful and proactive Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks Collaboration and teamwork are essential Detail-oriented with a commitment to design excellence
