SCAD

Among other duties, you will enter work orders for assigned projects, perform building inspections, supervise tradespeople and contractors, and coordinate with internal departments in a collaborative, cross-functional process. In this position, you will ensure work orders and projects are completed by conducting site inspections and following up on quality control for tradespeople and contractors. You will review work orders, assign site visits with internal department heads and stakeholders to assess the appropriateness of requests, plan spaces, and problem-solve to find creative solutions. You will also complete order fulfillment, coordinate installations, and supervise their completion to ensure efficiency and quality. You will use software like Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion to produce professional visualizations and enhance presentations with post-production techniques using Photoshop or other graphic design tools. Among other duties, you will maintain a rendering library of materials, textures, and assets for consistency across projects. A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of lighting, composition, and material accuracy is paramount, as is the ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsibilities include maintaining classroom scheduling, event prep, managing department leaders’ calendars/schedules, completing paperwork, ordering and maintaining office supplies, and collaborating with housekeeping to ensure the building is student... ready. This role requires undertaking the arrangement of department meetings and preparing agendas, coordinating quarterly report submissions, supporting end of quarter responsibilities for department leaders, and the supporting the university’s operation showcase. You will be expected to support the department with classes, ELO’s, workshop scheduling, and university events; direct mail; compose correspondence and maintain a file system.
