Qualifications: What You'll Bring •Bachelor's degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program or equivalent preferred. •Hospitality renovation experience is preferred •Professional designation or other industry related certifications are a plus but not required. Responsibilities: Requirements: The Design Manager will manage Strategic Development's Interior Design 3rd party consultants to meet expectations based on the Travel + Leisure brand standards, stakeholders' input, budget, project location and current market influences. As an integral member of a fast paced and flexible team, the Design Manager will be required to interface with designers, resort managers, HOA board members, operational leaders, project managers, the procurement team, internal department associates and vendors, and must possess exceptional presentation and communication skills. How You'll Shine •Oversee 3rd party Design firms/Designers and ensures project budget, timeline and scope intent are met with the expectation of up to 25 design projects at one time •Prepare Requests for Proposals and actively bid multiple renovation projects simultaneously to outsource to Design Firms; holds these firms to WynD strict criteria of brand standards, quality, budget and timelines •Reviews bids with management and make award recommendations •Onboarding outsourced design firms for each project setting expectations for all stakeholders •Conducts site visits of resorts with awarded design team, evaluate project scope, schedule and budget, meet with key stakeholders •Manages weekly project reviews with outsourced designers to ensure projects run on schedule and stay within project scope and budget •Participates in QA/QC meetings to ensure outside design firm is producing accurate documents for release to Project Management and Procurement Teams •Responds to RFI's and review all project submittals in a timely manor •Enforces brand standards •The Design Manager may be required to manage their own Interior Design projects.

You will directly oversee and manage third-party architects, engineers, and interior designers to ensure project success within budget, timeline, and quality standards. Additionally, you will lead the development of design and project schedules, review and analyze proposals, design documents, and technical drawings, and prepare and present clear project status reports to internal stakeholders. Key qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, and 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality Interior Design or Architecture.
