Interior Design Summer Intern
Interns may be assigned based on area of interest such as: Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Sustainability, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources or other areas of expertise. The role of the internship is to gain professional experience by assisting project teams with design and documentation support and becoming familiar with resources and vendors. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Assist members of design teams with multiple project related tasks Perform elementary interiors assignments and works from designs of others Maintain appearance of the print rooms, copy areas and resource library in addition to daily tasks as assigned Provide research assistance as assigned Participate in the production/modifications of the design drafting as directed Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings Participate in design charrettes and project team meetings Assist with updated and organizing interiors resource library Attend “lunch and learn” events and other vendor presentations on an ongoing basis Complete timesheet daily and expense reports accurately and on-time Must be able to work in‑person in Cincinnati (some flexibility with hybrid needs may be discussed/accommodated)
