Reports To: Design Manager Job Purpose: To collaborate with the client through the planning process, develop unique and innovative remodeling solutions, and prepare clear and accurate documentation for Production. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and investment levels • Present and sell Design and Construction Agreements • Develop creative design concepts and detailed work scopes that align with client goals • Document existing site conditions accurately • Collaborate with Estimators, Engineers, Architects, Mosby Sales Consultants, and Project Managers to ensure project success • Provide superior customer service and build long-term client relationships • Participate in tradeshows, seminars, webinars, and other company events as requested Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education in Interior Design or Architecture • 5+ years of experience in Residential Design preferred • Minimum of 3 years working one on one with clients to determine their design needs, budget, material selections and executing sales contracts • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and CAD Programs (Chief Architect program is a plus) • Excellent organization, communication and time management skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to successfully manage several projects at a time • Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner • Prior working relationships with vendors and subcontractors • Have & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments around the St. Louis & Southern Illinois area • Ability to work nights and weekends • Physically able to stand for long periods of time & carry/move up to 50lbs.
