Junior Designer

This is a full-time position paid hourly located in Northville, Michigan. The Junior Designer is responsible for working within a team environment, collaborating directly with the Creative Director, Design Team, and Director of Operations. • attend consultations as a support to the Creative Director and/or Design Team; maintain detailed notes of meetings and support execution of resulting action items • attend construction installations and meet trades at projects to ensure project specifications are accurately executed • independently measure and build preliminary floor plans and assist the Principal Designer and/or Interiors Designer in final floor plan design • produce floor plans, CAD elevations, sketches, details, furniture plans, renderings, and selection specifications • independently formulate designs under the guidance of the Creative Director and/or Design Team • work independently on sourcing materials and construction for clients and collaborate with the team to create client proposals and selection schedules • monitor project budgets, keep schedules on time and keep Creative Director and/or Design Team informed. Requirements: • great style and taste consistent with the MEGANROSE Interiors brand • be proactive in identifying potential issues and solving them • efficient with a strong ability to logically prioritize • ability to work independently with a strong work ethic and a positive, "can do" attitude • organized and detail-oriented with an eye for project dependencies • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and contractors • strong note taking, technical drawing skills, field measure exp, quote/bid requests, product/construction knowledge, and experience tracking work time and billable hours. Junior Interior Designer

This is a full-time position paid hourly located in Northville, Michigan. This is not a remote position; the majority of the work for this role is on site or in the studio. Responsibilities: • collaborating with the design team to ensure the execution of all project goals through all design phases, including project management and construction administration • taking end-to-end ownership for design and execution of select client projects • attend consultations independently or as a support to the design team; maintain detailed notes of meetings and support execution of resulting action items • attend construction installations and meet trades at projects to ensure project specifications are accurately executed • independently measure and build preliminary floor plans and assist the design team in final floor plan design • produce floor plans, CAD elevations, sketches, details, furniture plans, renderings, and selection specifications • independently formulate designs under the guidance of the design team • work independently on sourcing materials and construction for clients and collaborate with the team to create client proposals and selection schedules • monitor project budgets, keep schedules on time and keep design team informed.
