McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer - Fish Hatcheries to work with our current team of civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and structural engineers on a variety of water resource and fisheries related projects. The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for the civil design of the facility. • Develop construction documents (plans and specifications). • Provide construction engineering support and management. • 12+ years of experience in civil and hydraulic engineering, with demonstrated experience in aquaculture techniques, fish health issues and appropriate treatment strategies, hatchery operations and project management.

We are looking for a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in civil, structural, hydrological, and/or geotechnical engineering as it relates to dam safety evaluations and design. Responsibilities: • Perform dam safety related work, including FERC Part 12D inspections and Chief Dam Safety Engineer (CDSE) services • Oversee dam safety related hydrological, geotechnical, and structural evaluations of dams, embankments, dykes, and levees • Write all types of dam safety reports including FERC required DSSMRs, ODSPs, EAPs, and STI documents • Manage clients, projects, and deliverables. • Lead or support remedial designs for earthfill embankment dams, concrete dams, and various other water-impounding structures • Mentor junior staff on all aspects of dam safety • Marketing of professional services, proposal writing, cost estimating, and project scheduling • Assist in the selection and qualification of subcontractors (specifically for dam safety related activities) • Coordinate the development of construction and engineering cost estimates for dam safety projects We are a design and build firm providing clients with balanced perspective and realistic solutions. The PM will work in a variety of water-related projects in fields including but not limited to: fisheries, fish passage, hydropower, dams, flood control, pump stations, water treatment, storm water, surface water management planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. • Manage projects by establishing project deliverables, developing the project team, manage changes to project scope, establish communication plans, and monitor and control project work. The Revit Team Member will work with our CAD/BIM/VDC team to take our water resource projects to the Revit world. • Proficient with BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) • Proficient with Navisworks and 3D coordination is required • Proficient with AutoCAD • Technical or vocation program completion with focus in design and drafting; AA/AS preferred • 10 years experience preferred as a MEP designer • Previous experience with ACC/BIM360. • Knowledge of Dynamo or Python for Revit is a plus • Knowledge of Inventor or similar software is a plus • Experience in water resources is a plus • Must have good technical writing and professional communication skills • Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) • Ability to collaborate productively with multidisciplinary team members on a variety of concurrent projects.
