Professional level proficiency in Auto CAD is a must. Responsibilities include: • Works closely with the Lead Designers/Project Managers assisting with all phases of the design process from concept to installation. • Facilitates site measurements and installations with subcontractors and prepares work-orders for workrooms per the direction of the Lead Designer/Project Manager. • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design • Professional level proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office • Thrives in a creative and collaborative environment • Easily adapts to changing priorities and tasks • Displays strong organizational and time management skills to meet the requirement of projects and deadlines. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Project scopes range and may include all manner of interior décor and architecture, including color and material selections, wall covering, fixtures, furnishings, etc • Creating drawings, presentations, and product proposals and meeting with clients to present these in person • Fully managing projects, including directing the work of Design Assistants and Junior Designers, as well as coordinating the work of contractors • Balancing multiple projects at once with consistent attention to detail and a focus on client relations The Interior Designer will report to the firm’s Principals. Candidates must have: • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager in Residential Interior Design • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture • Professional level proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office This job is full-time position on Martha’s Vineyard.
