Design Assistant

You’ll support the principal designers by managing the administrative backbone of our projects—from the initial storyboard phase to the final installation. The ideal candidate is someone who finds satisfaction in a perfectly organized sample library and never lets a detail slip through the cracks in a finish schedule. Key Responsibilities Project Documentation: Assist in creating and updating design schedules, finish documents, and specifications. Visual Organization: Organize and maintain storyboards and digital project folders to ensure the design vision is clear and accessible.

We are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager who has worked in the interior design industry for 1-2 years is a MUST and has extensive experience in this role. This includes but is not limited to scheduling tradesmen, movers, etc., coordinating FF&E install to be on target with construction completion and managing situations that arise. A large part of this is coordination with builders and architects in addition to electricians, plumbers, cabinetry workshops, window & door manufacturers, stone and tile manufacturers, etc. - Gather quotes and specifications - Prepare client proposals and vendor purchase orders - Oversee all deliverable items - Proficiency in a design-based data entry software like Studio Designer, Ivy, etc. - Able to manage all aspects of a project under principal designer - Experience in construction documentation - Client-facing - All hands on deck / work together as a team to make the office run smoothly
