Who You Are Required: • 2 years of commercial interior design experience • Experience working with contract furniture dealerships • Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) • Strong knowledge of commercial furniture systems • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Interior Solutions is looking for a client-facing designer who provides production design drawings and services to furniture dealership customers, including site/inventory verifications, programming, space planning, typical development, working/installation drawings, specification and site-to-plan review. Design Process • Create original, or edit existing drawings in CET • Develop specifications, presentations and cost of materials for projects. • Responsible for interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings or equipment, electrical placement and recommendations, installation drawings and reconfiguration. • Client-facing and working with sales to close a deal. • Has some basic knowledge of the dealership’s contract furniture lines, including features/benefits, pricing, application and assembly, specification options and nomenclature, etc.
