Honey Collins Interiors is seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Project Designer to join our team. This is a full-time, in office position based in our Manchester bay the Sea/Boston studio and offers hands on exposure to al phases of the interior design business.This role is ideal for a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience—preferably in a high-end residential design studio—who is confident managing projects from concept through installation. The successful candidate is design-driven, highly organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects while collaborating closely with the Principal and studio team. This position requires strong creative vision, technical proficiency, and excellent client and vendor communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage residential design projects from schematic design through installation * Create furniture plans, elevations, and design drawings in AutoCAD * Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and installation timelines * Source, specify, and price furniture, lighting, finishes, textiles, and antiques * Create and maintain paint, lighting, plumbing, hardware, and finish schedules * Prepare RFQs and manage custom furniture, millwork, and window treatments * Review and redline shop drawings to ensure accuracy and design intent * Lead and attend client meetings, site visits, and installations * Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and workrooms * Track orders and provide regular project status updates * Collaborate with and mentor junior team members as needed
