You will partner closely with the Studio Director to manage multiple residential projects from concept through final installation—both in-state and out-of-state—ensuring exceptional quality, accuracy, and client experience at every stage. Strong project management and interior design expertiseExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work discreetly with high-profile clientsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslySelf-starter with the ability to take direction while working independentlyComfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environmentGenuine passion for interior design Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Architecture & Design or Architecture10+ years of experience in a high-end residential interior design firm, in a project manager/designer roleAdvanced proficiency in AutoCADProficiency in Adobe InDesign and PhotoshopDeep knowledge of materials, fabrics, finishes, custom furnishings, millwork, and specificationsExtensive familiarity with San Francisco Bay Area design trade sources and showroomsKnowledge of sources in NYC, LA, and Europe is a plusAbility to work under deadlines in a busy, creative environmentValid driver’s license and access to a car (or car share) for site visits, showrooms, and vendor locations Onsite, office-based role with in-person design presentationsRegular visits to showrooms, workrooms, warehouses, and project sitesOccasional travel for out-of-state projectsCandidates must live in the San Francisco Bay Area Heather Hilliard Design is a full-service, boutique interior design studio specializing in high-end residential interiors.
