As an Interior Designer, is responsible for implementing the interior design program as part of the Region 10 Public Buildings Service's program for the space delivery process. Provides technical design advice to other GSA, PBS personnel such as architects, engineers, and consultants on space planning and design issues... Provides guidance and technical assistance to project teams as well as personally executing a variety of space planning projects. These services include but are not limited to requirements development and furniture specifications. Provides general cost analyses related to the redesign of the existing space through comprehensive examination of client's needs and how it relates practically to the space.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will operate as a subject matter and program expert for the Interior Design and Workplace Solutions sections. The major duties of the Senior Interior Designer GS-13 include but are not limited to the following : • Provide and / or facilitate technical training for new hires and journeyman level Workplace Specialists and Interior Designers in conjunction with the supervisor(s). • Expert knowledge of the theories, principles, practices, and techniques of interior design, space management and space planning, layout, furniture and interior design in order to serve as a regional expert in the design and workplace area. The major duties of the Senior Interior Designer GS-13 include but are not limited to the following : • Provide and / or facilitate technical training for new hires and journeyman level Workplace Specialists and Interior Designers in conjunction with the supervisor(s).
