The Design Consultant at Floor & Decor is the entry point into design and is responsible for engaging customers on the sales floor to support their design projects, conduct design appointments with customers to determine design needs in the selection of tile, wood, stone, and accessory products of various colors textures, patterns, and design. Essential Functions Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers in the industry Greet store customers in a helpful manner and supports store design walk-in needs Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the store Providing tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects.
